Several towns in the province of Iloilo declared class suspensions for Tuesday, Feb. 13, due to Tropical Storm “Basyang” (Sanba).
Storm Signal Number 1 remains hoisted over Iloilo as well as in Guimaras, Aklan, Antique, Capiz and Negros Occidental.
The following are towns where classes have been suspended:

Passi City and Iloilo City suspended classes in the preschool and elementary levels.
The Department of Education (DepEd) has guidelines on class suspensions.
Classes in affected areas will be suspended under the following storm warning signals:
- Signal No. 1: pre-school and kindergarten
- Signal No. 2: pre-school, kindergarten, elementary, and high school (including senior high school)
- Signal No. 3: all levels
