The Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) warned existing business establisments in Iloilo City to renew their permits.
Norman Tabud, BPLO head, disclosed that more than 1,000 business owners in the city have yet to secure their renewed permits.
The BPLO set the deadline for business permit renewals on January 20.
According to tabud, late applicants will face corresponding sanctions, which include mandatory payment of 25 percent surcharge and closure of establishments.
