The Iloilo Hall of Justice was rocked by a bomb threat Monday morning, March 11.
The bomb threat forced employees to vacate the building on Bonifacio Drive in Iloilo City.
According to the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO), the bomb threat was first received by the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO).
A man called their office at around 8:37 a.m. and claimed that a bomb was placed in the building, ICPO said.
Personnel of the Explosive Ordnance Division (EOD) of the Police Regional Office (PRO-6) immediately responded to the area.
After the inspection, no bomb or any explosive device was found. “The bomb threat was negative.”
The Chief Justice Ramon Q. Avanceña Hall of Justice was declared safe at 10 a.m.
The police is now investigating the identity of the caller.IMT
