The Dinagyang Festival has kicked off its Philippine tour in Pampanga.
Tribu Ilonganon, the 2019 Dagyang Tribes Dance Competition champion, performed at the Yokohama Tire Philippines factory in Clark on Wednesday, Feb. 27, and at SM Pampanga and Robinsons Place Angeles the following day.
The tribe from Jalandoni Memorial National High School is composed of 25 warriors, five female dancers, and 15 drummers.
All expenses are shouldered by the Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation, Inc (IDFI), the lead organizer of the world-renowned festival.
