The city of Iloilo continues to be a magnet for investors in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry as it welcomes its first for 2016.

Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog hailed the entry of WNS Global Services, with location at the Iloilo Business Park.

“Investors’ confidence is very high due to the favorable business climate here, especially on peace and order, the excellent governance and human resources that we offer, and the over-all dynamism of Iloilo,” he said.

The company has many requirements for a location and Iloilo City has delivered.

“WNS is excited to announce the opening of our new delivery center in Iloilo, the Philippines,” said Keshav Murugesh, WNS’ Chief Executive Officer.

“This new delivery center will enable WNS to tap a talent-rich, client focused resource pool, which will be instrumental in helping us meet the growing and evolving needs of our clients,” he added.

The company joins the current 45 BPOs here that employ 20,000 full time personnel.

WNS is a leading global Business Process Management corporation that offers business value to more than 200 global clients.

It combines operational excellence with full expertise in key industry verticals, including banking and financial services, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, media and entertainment, retail and consumer packaged goods, telecom and diversified businesses, shipping and logistics, travel and leisure, and utilities.
