Ilonggos rejoice over Pacquiao’s victory

Ilonggo netizens rejoiced over the victory of Manny Pacquiao in the World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title fight.

Pacquiao, 40, defeated Adrien Broner, 29, by a unanimous decision.

The scorecards read 117-111, 116-112, and 116-112 in favor of the senator-athlete.

The match took place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, Jan. 20 (Philippine time).

Following his triumph, Ilonggos took to social media to congratulate the Pinoy boxer:

Pacquiao said his fight with Broner was not the last.

“I really don’t believe that my career is over,” he told reporters.
