WVSU grad is No. 1 in physician board exam

An alumnus of West Visayas State University (WVSU) in La Paz, Iloilo City topped the March 2019 Physician Licensure Exam.

Clinton Rosita Rabadon scored 89.83 percent to rank first.

He was joined by Jan Bendric Co Borbe of the University of Santo Tomas in the top spot.

Kevindaeile Simbulan Torralba of Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela ranked second with 88.92 percent.

Daniel Cajayon Panaglima of Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine, Inc. placed third with 88.75 percent.

Carren Agnes Honrada Solidor of Southwestern University (88.42 percent) and Jessa Elaine Balbastro Fronda (88.33 percent) of Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine, Inc. occupied the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.

A total of 1,209 out of 1,579 examinees passed the board exam that was conducted by the PRC Board of Medicine headed by its chairman, Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro.

The results were released on Thursday, March 14.

The board exam was conducted on March 3-4 and 10-11, at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, and Zamboanga.IMT
